Guidance
How to handle the challenges you face as a parent or a professional working with children
Parents and teachers are the primary adults surrounding a child, and therefore often in the ideal position to help, when a child fails to thrive. When encountering challenges, they usually face them head on and work their way through them. Sometimes, however, they need help to find the best course of action.
Guidance for parents and professionals
I offer guidance for parents and fosterparents. The guidance will help you with the challenges you face as a parent and provide you with ideas and tools to support your child.
I also offer guidance and counseling to teachers and other professionals working with children. The counseling might focus on specific challenges with a child or a group of children, or it can focus on the professional and his/her skills and development.
I have vast experience guiding parents and teachers on how to support children with numerous challenges, for example:
- Learning disabilities
- Delayed development
- Autism
- Attentional difficulties
- Behavioral issues
- Cerebral palsy
- Children who are easily affected by sensory input
- Children raised in bilingual environments
- Overall parenting skills
